Schluchsee

Sometimes there is a sandy beach below the wall - I took this picture remembering lovely summer hours on the beach. The water level of the lake is changing as the lake is part of a pumped storage hydropower plant (in my language: Pumpspeicherkraftwerk).

Lovely shot, Frieda. I don't think I could begin to pronounce that word - lol! While the waterscape has changed, it's nice you have such lovely memories of the spot.

The landscape is always changing there, as it depends on the amount of energy that has to be "stored" in the lake - maybe today the beach is back :)
