Säule der Toleranz (column of tolerance)

This object is located on a square in Freiburg called Augustinerplatz. People like to sit there together on warm evenings. The column changes its colour from green to red during the evening - when it is completely red people are meant to leave the square.

That is interesting. We have a draw bridge tower that changes colors at night. Your image reminds me that I would like to make a picture of it. Thanks for the reminder :^)

By the way a friend who lives close to the square told me that I was wrong...the red column means that people are meant to be quiet (they don't have to leave). ;)
